Spend a week outdoors with kids your age from across Michigan (and beyond)! Participants between the ages of 10 and 13 will be assigned to activity groups and participate in age-appropriate activities, while expanding their skills and sparking new interests. Each activity group is provided with a camp guide for the week to explore camp in a new way. From exciting activities to group challenges, there’s lots to do! Activities will include: Aquatics, Nature, Shooting Sports, Crafts, Cooking, Tubing/River fun, and more!
Qualified leadership and supervision are provided by the camp staff, so no parent attendance is required. Parents and Leaders may attend, but this experience gives children from busy families a chance to still make it to camp without having to worry if the adults can too.
Cole Canoe Base is operated by the Michigan Crossroads Council, Boy Scouts of America. While we offer amazing opportunities for scouting youth and families, this experience is open to all! We are an ADA compliant camp licensed by the state of Michigan for more than 60 years.
