The mission of Copper Cannon Camp is to enrich the lives of under-served youth in New Hampshire by providing a quality, tuition-free camp experience. Our founder, Hamilton Ford, overcame an underprivileged childhood and was changed by a summer camp experience. He decided then and there that summer camp was something that every child, regardless of financial status, deserved to experience. And over 50 years and 20,000 campers later, we uphold that same belief to this day.
At Copper Cannon Camp, campers are able to participate in such activities as: archery, low ropes, team building exercises, hiking, GaGa, arts and crafts, outdoor living skills, campfires, overnights and cookouts. In addition to all of these activities, campers will get to choose between different program choices provided throughout the week. A program choice is a one-hour session that can be anything from paper airplane building to dance classes. It is a great opportunity for our campers to participate in positive risk-taking and maybe even to find their new favorite hobby! There is something for everyone at Copper Cannon Camp!
